  • What is CitronGO!?
    CitronGO! redefines mobility in communication by uniquely integrating in the screen of a device (mobile handset, PDA, or PC) communication and social networking services, covering personal and professional daily needs.
    CitronGO! is built on a generic platform with open software that supports aggregates and integrates a variety of protocols and applications to enable easy integration between service providers, network operators and manufacturers (top)
  • How does CitronGO! work?
    CitronGO! combines ubiquitous computing with push email and complete file synchronisation to seamlessly integrate all current popular applications onto a single screen. It connects to user accounts on all major service providers and/or software vendors requiring minimum configurations. It synchronises data over the air (OTA) on mobile handsets providing a true ‘push’ experience:
    • Push Emails - synchronises , aggregates and integrates as many email accounts a user might have, including Microsoft® Outlook, Yahoo!®, Gmail, AOL® mail, etc.
    • Push Contacts - synchronises, aggregates and integrates as many contacts a user might have
    • Push Calendars - synchronises, aggregates and integrates as many calendars a user might have
    • Instant Messaging (IM) - synchronises and provides simultaneous access to all Instant Messaging accounts the user might have, including iCQ™, Skype™, MSN™, etc.
    • Web storage ‘cloud’ - provides users with the ability to store and share their folders, files and data
    • Web 2.0 - Social networking accounts - enables individuals to receive messages from their accounts directly onto their mobile device screen (e.g. Facebook™, MySpace™, YouTube™, etc.)
    • File conversion - provides the capability to easily transform specific files to be readable on almost all mobile handsets (currently supports Excel, Word, PDF and RTF files) (top)
  • Do I need any special software to use CitronGO!?
    CitronGO! provides a transparent user experience to the user via the WEB and the Mobile. On the WEB you do not need to install any special software. You just need to have a web browser, subscribe and login to the CitronGO! service).
    On the mobile you have to download a mobile client. The process is very easy. You may download the client by clicking this link.
    Installation is done automatically and the wizard helps you to complete your registration within only a few minutes. (top)
  • Why should I connect with others on CitronGO!?
    CitronGO! offers you a unique interaction layer with all your favourite services. Providing the Single Sign ON (SSO) feature, once you login in the service you may access, edit send, respond, forward any email via any email account that you have, access the contacts from your mobile handset along with contacts thatyou may have in other address books (like in Microsoft® Exchange, Lotus Domino, etc.), talk with your friend via your Instant Messaging account, instantly upload videos on you YouTube account with no need to care about the video format, speak to your contact via your social networking accounts, share folders and files with anyone that you want without the barrier of file size, and do a lot more.   • How safe it is to use the CitronGO!?
    CitronGO! is build on a highly secured infrastructure in order to ensure that your personal information is safe against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
    It uses 3 layers of security consisting of :
    • Encryption of the customer data within the CitronGO! database
    • Encryption in the communication that takes place between the Mobile client and the CitronGO! server
    • Encryption in the communication that takes place between the CitronGO! server and the Internet (top)
  • What is the commercial beta version of CitronGO!?
    Commercial beta version of CitronGO! refers to the fact that we are continuously working on improving the service and we want your feedback and opinion on how we can make it better for your needs. During the beta commercial version the service is offered free of charge for all trialists and may have some limitations regarding usage. However and by no means beta refers to any system malfunctions or problems. Your data are secured and safe. (top)
  • How can I opt out?
    You may simply select to delete your CitronGO! account and you are automatically opted out.
    If you have bought or activated your CitronGO! account via another partner network of ours your account may be automatically de-activated if you decide to change partner. For more details please refer to the policy of the reseller that you have purchased the service. (top)
  • Can I get all my contacts from my own phone on to a new one even if it's a different brand?
    NO. This features is not supported for your own protection and protection of your personal data. CitronGO! synchronises all your current mobile contacts. In this way if you loose your phone, or if your phone is stolen nobody can access your data. (top)
  • How does send/receive work?
    CitronGO!! uses send/receive funtcionality on predefined regular intervals for retreiving and updating all user data. The user may select different time intervals for the service to update all his data. Data transfer takes place Over The Air (OTA) via any type of network access (GPRS, 3G, HSDPA, WiFi, etc.) available at the user while traversing. Therefore the user has all his data updated at any time, any place and via any device. So all you need is a ‘screen’ with a working internet connection from your operator to retrieve and update all data at CitronGO!. (top)
  • I have a BlackBerry®/iPhone™/iPhone 3G™/Windows® Mobile phone, can I still use CitronGO!?
    CitronGO! works on any devices since the mobile client support Java enabled handset, Symbian, and Windows Mobile handsets. In its current version there is no support for iPhone, however very soon we will support it. We are aiming to update our handest compatibility list continuously with new launched devices.
